Your rides, your crew and your build, in one app.
Kickstand is a social app for people who ride electric. Post your rides, plan group rides with a live map, and enter your bike in a build contest that picks a winner every Sunday at midnight.
Free to download and use. Riders must be 18 or older.
Build of the Week
Post your bike with at least 3 photos, a short description and what it cost to build.
Built around how riders actually hang out.
A feed for your rides
Share up to ten photos per post. Follow riders, like and comment, and message anyone in the community.
- Double-tap a photo to like it
- Explore grid of every rider's posts
- Activity page for likes, comments and follows
Group rides with a live map
Pick a meet spot and a time. Riders join, and once the host starts the ride, everyone in it sees each other on a map.
- Location shared only while the ride is live
- Notifications when someone joins or the ride starts
- Rides end automatically after 8 hours
Build of the Week
Enter your bike with photos, a description, the total build cost and an optional spec sheet. Riders upvote all week.
- Full-screen Stories of every entry
- Head-to-head Matchups for quick voting

One winner. Every Sunday at midnight.
The contest runs Sunday to Sunday, Eastern time. The build with the most upvotes when the clock hits zero takes the week.

Enter your build
Upload 3 to 10 photos, a title, a short description and what the whole build cost. Add the bike, battery, controller, top speed and parts list if you want riders to see the details.
Riders vote all week
Every rider gets one upvote per build. Watch entries full screen in Stories, or go head to head in Matchups. You can't vote on your own build.
Sunday midnight, it's decided
Voting closes at 12:00am Eastern. The top build wins the week, gets a permanent winner badge and goes into the Hall of Fame. A tie goes to the build entered first.
No purchase is necessary to enter or vote. Free members get one entry per week, Premium members get three. There is no cash prize.
Your location stays yours.
Kickstand never tracks where you are in the background. Here is exactly when location is used.
Only during a live group ride
Your exact location is shared only after you join a ride, the host starts it, and you tap Share my location.
Only with riders in that ride
People who are not in the ride can't see your location, and neither can riders you have blocked.
Deleted when the ride ends
When the host ends the ride, every shared location is wiped. Rides left running end on their own after 8 hours.
Report, block and delete
Report or block anyone from their profile, post or message. You can delete your account and everything in it from Settings at any time.
Free to ride. Premium if you want more entries.
Billed through the App Store or Google Play. Cancel any time in your account settings.
