Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Kickstand, operated by Volt Racing LLC, collects and why.
What we collect
- Phone number: to sign you in with a text message code. It is never shown to other members.
- Profile: username, optional name, bio, bike and photo. These are public to other members.
- Content: posts, builds, votes, ride plans and messages you create.
- Location: only while a group ride you joined is active and you have tapped Share my location. Location is deleted when the ride ends. We do not track your location at any other time.
- Purchase status: whether you have Premium, provided by Apple or Google through RevenueCat. We never see your card details.
- Basic technical data such as device type and app version, used to fix bugs.
How we use it
To run the app, show your content to other members, run the weekly contest, prevent abuse, and respond to reports. We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Who we share it with
Service providers that run Kickstand for us: Supabase (database, file storage and sign-in), Twilio (sending sign-in codes), RevenueCat (subscription status), and Apple and Google (app distribution and payments). We may disclose information if required by law or to protect someone's safety.
Messages
Direct messages are visible to you and the person you message. We may review messages that are reported to us.
Retention and deletion
You can delete your account in Settings at any time. That permanently deletes your profile, posts, builds, votes, rides, messages and uploaded photos.
Children
Kickstand is for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor is using the app, contact us and we will remove the account.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your data. Contact us and we will respond within 30 days.
