Terms of Use

Kickstand is operated by Volt Racing LLC ("we"). By creating an account you agree to these terms.

Age

You must be 18 or older to use Kickstand. If you are under 18, do not create an account. We remove accounts we believe belong to minors.

Your account

You sign in with your phone number. Keep access to that number secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. One account per person.

Your content

You own the photos and text you post. By posting, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display and distribute that content inside Kickstand and in promotion of Kickstand, including featuring weekly winning builds. Only post content you have the right to share.

Rules

Do not post anything illegal, sexual, hateful, harassing, or that encourages dangerous or illegal riding. Do not post another person's private information. Do not use Kickstand to sell stolen goods or run scams. Do not create fake accounts or manipulate votes, including through multiple accounts. See the Community Guidelines for details.

Weekly build contest

Each contest week runs from Sunday 12:00am to the following Sunday 12:00am Eastern Time. The build with the most upvotes at the end of the week wins; ties go to the build posted first. Winners receive a profile badge and a place in the Hall of Fame. There is no cash prize and no purchase is necessary to enter or vote. We may disqualify entries that break these terms, including entries using photos of a bike that is not yours.

Group rides and location

Group rides are organized by members, not by us. We do not supervise rides and are not responsible for what happens on them. Ride safely, wear protective gear, and follow local laws. During an active ride, your exact location is shared with other members of that ride. You choose when to share and can stop at any time.

Premium

Premium is a weekly auto-renewing subscription billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. It renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in your app store account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.

Moderation

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these terms. We review reports within 24 hours. You can block any user at any time.

Disclaimers

Kickstand is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for injuries, property damage or losses arising from rides, meetups, purchases or other interactions between members.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may end accounts that violate these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms. If changes are significant we will tell you in the app.
